from daisy day (women's day?) at ucla back in march, before finals.
it's true, i really like shadows. but not that much by themselves - there's got to be some kind of comparison or juxtaposition. like kara walker's work, i wouldn't be able to mimic that, because i'd feel like it'd be too simple. but kara walker's silhouettes are super complicated and the things she creates are amazing. (hehe i saw her in person!) this daisy got an entire 10 minute photoshoot with my digital camera, but poor thing, only about two shots came out cute enough for me. this is one of them. |
